Let's get REAL

Realize that in order to reach the least, the last, the lost, the lonely and the left out, you must educate yourself and others; activate by joining others in this movement; and most importantly, be motivated out of love – the kind of love that only God can give.

OK - I give

After years of seeing Blogs by friends, I finally give. Blogging looks like fun and I just can't resist another web page for that! I kind of copied a friend's idea for my blog name (the original name for my blog was Tea Time). I love to drink sweet tea and typically carry a thermal mug full to work. I don't drink coffee and have lots of good memories of tea time in other countries, thus the name. This blog will be a combination of my personal life, my family and my volunteer opportunities, including the fight against Human Trafficking. My mother says I am too busy and have too many things going in my life. Perhaps she is right. Full-time job in the OKWU Registrar's office, Mentor for OKWU Lady Religion majors, acting coach for Possibility People (Kid's choir at church), Cub Scout Pack 32 Committee Chair, Cherokee Council District Committee member to promote training, SPARKS leader for AWANA, and anti-Human Trafficking Advocate. That's on top of my two most important things - wife and mom. I've wondered if I should give something up, but every time I consider giving something up, I get blessed doing it and just can't bear to give it up. Well, I'll close for now. I need to get my son out of bed and get ready for work.
